Always wanted one of these as a kid, couldn't say no when one popped up on ebay for $5
I think she's a bit past needing a refurb though
Wasn't a bad bat for indoor cricket though

Whilst rooting around behind some filing Cabinets in a old disused office , I have come across a Gray Nichols Scimitar bat and a Gray Nichols Elite , both of them looka certain vintage but I have never heard of these two models , Anyone got any Ideas ?

The Scimitar is roughly 2000-2002, it was a twist on the four scoop model.
The Elite was approx. 10 years earlier. IIRC, it had a slightly longer blade. One of the first big names to use it was Robin Smith when he was one of GN's stars.

Yep my mate had a Scimitar circa 2003, it snapped in half quite quickly.

So I was at my parents today discussing my old keyboard to give to my daughter and got asked to get it out if the loft.
When I was up there, I found a couple of my old bags and kit.
Some GM pads and gloves and the above bats so though I would dig them out properly.
All have seen better days, but might be brought back to a standard enough to have a knock about with.
I will do a proper thread later hopefully.

Well, having swapped my old Hunts County about 12 years ago to a mate for a Chinese Take-Away, it would appear he's still using it, and it still goes out of the middle.
He's tried to keep it together with tape, and the best thing is that he asked me to re-grip it and check the stickers, so who are we to disagree? We re-gripped it and added a few extra graphics!!!
