On a rare trip to London, I found these beauties in a shop somewhere in Portobello Market/Notting Hill. A few shops had a collection of vintage willow!

Hello all,
It's been a while.  Here are some of my latest acquisitions.  I really like the old white Skipper.  Had the same bat when I was 11 - Many moons ago.  The handle is actually made of a hollowed plastic topped with wood.  I know this, as I drilled a hole in the top and filled it with lead to give it more weight.  It broke in half a couple of weeks later!

Id love to get my hands on that Duncan Fearnley Magnum Club, My first full size bat!! You fancy selling?

So I started collecting older bats a couple of years ago inspired by the vintage bats thread. I picked up a few old bats based on which ones people said were collectible, but just over a year ago I decided to focus on GNs - partially after seeing the collection of Scoops built up by the guy from Singapore.

Thought it was about time I shared a couple of pics of the collection so far.

Very nice. Am I correct in assuming the Lara 375 bats were still GNs?

Yes, I believe they made them for him to sticker up, they also made bats for wisden (DG100) before it became the GN twin scoop

That looks like the ones Slazenger used in the late 90's. It's just a standard chevron isn't it?

@tim2000s I just got a bit lucky, I found it through a second hand selling site. The one I want now is a GN500 (4 scoop)

[Sorry if this post appears twice - the server gave some funny error messages first time]

I have a nice Newbery Club Master. Can anyone give a rough date for it? I sent pics to Newbery and they didn't know when it was made.

Photos are at https://photos.app.goo.gl/MJKL3rMTqjLaBp3U7 excuse the jazzy grip and scuff sheet... It is for sale on a well known auction site at the moment...

Also, not sure if this is really Vintage, and it's definitely not British made, but here is a BDM Dynamic Force. Can anyone date it, and do you think the amazing tiger decals and carving are original or
some custom messing with the bat? This one definitely not for sale... See pics at https://photos.app.goo.gl/jN9vKXiTee3ipu36A

I'd say that Newbery was likely mid 90's.

I have an old BDM typhoon which has similar groves in the back edges, think they copied the Slazenger V800 MK2. I think there is a picture earlier in this thread, will see if I can find it
