What would stop them from having the same problems though?
If, in the event it is an issue with all pads, they'd have had loads back and will have replaced a lot of pads. So it'd be in their interests to get it right for next season. Returns mean you're losing money.

If you have just been unlucky, then you've been unlucky.

Although I agree quality is not very good this year but that doesn't mean all of the pads will have same issue, as Mike said you got unlucky they make thousands of pads and gloves so if one or two are defected then its normal tbh.

Deal with any company even likes of APple have defected products.

Once your situation is resolved, then the time comes to contact Edward/Gm whether it be on here or elsewhere and report your findings and if you have them, suggestions.

I know for a fact that owzat have had a lot sent back. My worry there is that both my pads and gloves have had bad stitching. Somebody's doing something very wrong to be getting two products faulty. One product line then fair enough- but at least two?!!?!? Something must be done.

Then I'd suggest they are aware of the problem and will be moving to fix it for next year, as no company wants a bad reputation or to be sending out lots of replacements.

With respect, if YOU know that Owzat have had a lot sent back then I imagine GM probably know that too.  :)

  • If I only could bat....

The problem with this thread is that you come across like the worst kind of Daily Mail commentard who is wholly irrational and angry. Deal with it in a courteous fashion, get your problem resolved and then build the case for the prosecution. Doing it as you have makes you come across as extremely immature.

I'm not going to deny that i am angry. Who in the right mind wouldn't be angry? Therefore this should be taken into account when you start judging me.

Shall we just delete this whole thread and start again in the morning?

I think Tim's point is that your anger isn't going to help you get the resolution you want!

Put simply, wind your neck in, talk to GM and let them sort it, if they refuse to then that is a different matter but seeing as how 'Owzat have had a lot sent back' that would seem remote at the very least.

If your nice then they'll be nice!

People aren't judging you, they're just saying there are better plans of action to take than coming out and slating a company like this, at least get their side of the story first, I'm sure they're willing to replace it because it's a faulty product! It's not like they've intentionally messed it up mate. You've got to step back and take a good look at the situation before going head-first into it like you have done.

With age and experience, you will learn that 'anger' is something very much overrated. No one is judging you, merely advising that your current aggro approach may not lead to the best result.

Who in there right mind wouldn't be angry? Me, and I dare say most folks here. Get your refund/replacement from the retail outlet and then seek to discuss the matter with GM. I can almost guarantee that you will get no refund from GM directly though, they just will not be set up to do such things, hence dealers and retails outlets.

At the end of the day it is a pair of pads, not worth getting angry for.

Ok you go on about age and experience, but if you were 17, had forked out so much on softs and they were falling apart after minimal use you wouldn't be best pleased

Really? There is quite a difference between 'not best pleased' and starting an attention seeking thread using curse words.

We are trying to advise you on a better approach, there is no point getting funny with us just because we haven't all agreed with you.
