does that include siddle?

Lol, I don't really like Siddle, but if he is crap then the England bowlers must be completly sh#t seeing as he was the only one to get a hatrick. Either that or the batsmen are terrible. Look at Cook's scores against India so far, shows that average players can only be lucky for so long, ;)

Johnson set himself up here the idiot, but Anderson must be good to bowl a tail ender, right?

Off to bed, look forward to responses :D

You can say all you like about the England team, but we know how to get the job done, for example:
Just when you Ausies though you had the game won we took it away, you aussies simply don't have the guts in those tough situations.

Don't forget Hussey with the bat!

Sure you want to use that example? What was the result in the next series, oh 5-0 job done! Also, pretty sure a 59 run partnership from numbers 10 and 11 is a massive effort considering one of them was Kasprowicz . Terrible by top order, but look at the last 3 scores from 9, 10 ,11 - 42, 43 and 20. Pretty sure it was the other way around and England thought they had it in the bag with Aus 8-175, but Australia almost snatched vitories from the jaws of defeat, dunno what you're on about but that looks like guts to me. England must have been shi**ing themselves, lol.

You were chasing 282 and you were 47-0, to get into the situation you did from there is shocking. Yes your tail enders did well and you had us down and out but yet again you simply couldn't deal with the pressure and lost it on the finishing line.

Okay I'll accept you thrashed us and deserved that 5-0 victory, but that is your only ashes victory in your last 4 attempts, so don't feel to proud about yourself  :D

Erm, and those are our first three in umpteen attempts since 1986, so perhaps smugness shouldn't rest on our shoulders too heavily either...

Always good to see a future Aussie Captain and top order batsman being got out by our frontline bowlers...

I'm thinking about the present, I'm think about the Squads we have now and how those players have done in previous Ashes series. How many players do we have who played in the 1990 Ashes series? None. So therefore there is no point talking about how they did in the past as that was a different era with different players.

Most of the players in both teams either started playing international cricket in 2005 or later, so I would class that as the "modern era" and in this time we have dominated them. Yes they dominated us in the past, but at the present time we have put them in their place and 'til they can beat us again on our home turf I will continue to boast.

South Africa, oops, I mean England ;) are probably going to to get the number 1 ranking during the series against India, but Australia has some great talent coming through, so it should be interesting over the next couple of years.

The selectors over here must have been on something as some of their selections were just terrible, they should have been sacked already, but it will happen very soon.

Don't start playing the Saffer card...the only decent batting prospect is a Pakistani born player!

It was a genuine mistake ;).

I will play it, Trott and Pietersen played U19 SA. You've also got Kieswetter who may be your next keeper who also played SA U19's. England have 8 players who are from South Africa on the contract list, so there is a theme there.

I accept Strauss and Prior as they moved over when they were 6 and 11 respectively. Same with Khawaja, can't count Symonds either as he move to Aus when he was 2 months. We have heaps of good young players, but the selectors are retarded and pick crap players over them.

This has been done to death though.

Stop being bitter and accept that you are now (No Swearing Please), just as the West Indies have been since their fall from grace. It doesn't last forever! You had one of the best sides in the world, you were unlucky they all retired at the same time, but where was the next Warne, McGrath, Gilly etc?

As a country we have huge depth in ability. Our counties are full of players that are bloody class.

I don't think you are going to win this one skippy ;)
