I get the impression hunts are trying to be something they're not - the new stickers are modern, neon-y and bright, whereas 2 years ago they were all classic profiles and stickers etc. They need to get the Hunts County brand sorted out, so it's clear what their brand is.

e.g. with Newbery it's obvious the brand is a kind of classic, heritage brand, and Puma or Mongoose are all modern and hi-tech. Some brands I don't really get what they're going for, i.e. GM who seem to be halfway between heritage and modern, Kookaburra's image is all messed up (although it's improved with the 2012 range) and willostix's is really strange.

Quite agree with you there about most brands - With willoxstix I just see them a bootique brand, I wouldn't say they're trying to be either classical or modern, just being themselves.

I think Gm get it closest to spot on, their stickers never look dated, yet they always manage to keep them in touch with their long traditions.

They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!

I always thought this was very clear:

It was but now they've tried to change it and it's all muddled up. They're trying to be around GN etc but when that is their history, it just doesn't work in my opinion.

The company with the best branding in my opinion is Fat Bats, I think their branding is excellent - it comes across to me as stylish and funky, but still retaining sophistication and sleek.

Warsop= ugly and bizarre. I think most stickers are in bad taste, either from the standpoint of shameless appeal to youth, fixation on marketing and branding, or simply on aesthetic grounds. I like the look of the Gray-Nicolls Legend and most of the G &M  minus the Luna.

Hunts County and Slazenger, I much prefer smarter stickers with not much going on, these two don't fit the bill!

Pre 2011 GM, Gray Nicolls, Newbery, Redback, 2005 Slazenger, 2007 Puma, and old Woodworm stickers. Could probably think of a couple more

they are pretty plain. its just like they got to the point of designing some and couldnt be bothered. pretty big 2 so cover alot of the bat. not sure making them smaller would help though
