For me I see something in Ravi which says he could be a top performer. He hasn't yet really delivered but he some how seems to have qualities that others don't. He seems to have more time to select his shot than anyone I've seen since Gower played. He may be too laid back for his own good, or so it seems. He clearly has talent and that's probably why he's so frustrating as we are all expecting much more.
It makes me laugh when some of you say if you take away his hundreds against the West Indies he would be a poor player. If we took away all of Bell's failures against Australia he would be a world beater, if we discounted Tendulkers hundreds he'd be average, if we took off Hayden's 390 against Zim his average wouldn't look so good, if we discounted the England players performances against the West Indies during the 80's we'd have been a good team. That's why we measure players by their AVERAGE!
