I would suggest that at 14/15, if you're wanting to be in the county squad, you should be playing minimum 2's every week. And putting answers like this one are not going to win you any friends on here. It might be worth polishing up on your manners.

i agree with you on this one. Manners at county level towards coaches Etc will get you a long long way. There is always someone you see and you think, ''my god he is sucking right up to that coach'', but the suck ups have that little more advantage.
In our leagues when i was around that age, you could only get into the county squads if you played for certain league sides. There were a few players in my age group (15-17) at the time who was told to move clubs if you wanted to progress. When the answer was ''no'', we all got letters within 7 days to say ''thanks, but no thanks''.

I got into Lincolnshire when I was 17. They paid for us to spend a weekend training at Trent Bridge with all the senior squads. First day went really well for me, but then everyone went out on the beers on the Saturday night. I got carried away and had far too many. Ended up calling the head coach a C U Next Tuesday... And so ended my county career :(

So you play for either: Burnmoor, Boldon, Durham City, Felling or Philadelphia?
