Got league game yesterday. Oppo got 209 but unfortunately we fell a few short.
Bowled the best I have this season with no luck and a few dropped catches, only got 21 with the bat.

Presidents day today, got some tap bowling haha. Chasing 184 we fell 10 short.
got 67, thats 258 runs this week I think the most I've scored in a week ever haha!

Restricted the oppo to 180 for 9 off 45 in the Sunday league. My figures were 9-2-23-2 with four people dropping catches off my bowling and so many just missing the edge it was unreal.

Then we failed to score the 180, falling 20 runs short. My 1 was not very pleasing, especially as I got caught off a full toss by the bowler, for the third time this season. Think I need to rethink how I play those balls...

I've got out i the same why to them, playing a straighbatted drive and not middling it. I think your golf swing it over cow may have a point...

That's what I did earlier on this season, tried to play a straight batted shot mistimed and got out, where as I used to just try and thrash it through mid-on/midwicket and it's worked lately lol.

lost our 2nd XI Cup Semi. Didn't bat to well on a slow but variable deck to post 73ao in 32 overs. Picked up a duck with a leading edge, very annoyed with myself as my partner was batting well and I needed to hang around. I opened and picked up 8-4-11-4 (including 2 drops!) which reduced them to 26-6, but apart from my opening bowler partner who took 4 as well, we lacked discipline to close the game out and they hung on to win by 2 wickets. Since they thought they had the game won at tea time, you could see the relief on their faces in scraping over the line especially when they play 2 divisions higher (in the same division as our 1s). Weekend figures 14-7-15-9...

Got 21 off 12 Thursday in our final midweek game ending with 2 successive sixes before being ran out, 5 yesterday after top edging a full toss to mid-on but won but almost 100 runs and puts us top. Beat Downend today which is a brilliant win as we fiedling with 10 for most and 9 for some due to different reasons. We got 240-6 in 40, I got 31 off 25 incl. a 6 before being LBW and got 6-2-33-2 at the end bowling them out for 214. AND some awesome weather to go with it :) happy days.

I think the best thing about this weekend's cricket has to have been the Sun and playing conditions that were warm and pleasant (ok, hot and sweaty for us bowlers). nice to have proper cricket weather for what feels like the first time this season!

Won in the league yesterday, beating Brislington by about 100 runs. Contributed 23 opening up before hitting a vertical drive!

Also won today in the sunday league, had a really young team out and was worried we wouldn't give the oppo a decent game. However at 220-0 from 24 overs I changed my mind! Finished on 320-4, and bowled them out for 115. I got exactly 100 :)

Won both games yesterday won our T20 quaterfinal hitting 154-4 of our overs i was not needed to bat, they got 99 of 20 overs which keeps our 100 % playing reord this year up also no teams hit 100 against us this year, and then in the 40 over games yesterday on the most dreaful pitch ive ever played on we bowled bath exiles out for 99 and then chasing it down after 22 overs so all round a good day! Got hanham today aswell in a T20 so all good!
