19 for 9 and then unable to get that last wicket! The frustration must have been immense!!

unless they lobbed up a few to give their batsmen something to chase?

not what I'd do mind...

I reckon they would have done that a couple of wickets earlier if they would have wanted that! Plus they only knocked the runs off when their number 7 and 8 bat put on a bit of a partnership, so they must of still needed 50+ with 5 or 6 wickets down! That would have worried most teams with their top 6 batsmen out and just the tail to chase them down!  :(

That would have been incredible!! To win from that position didn't happen on that occasion, but has anyone heard of any team winning from a similar position?

Don't have a link (we aren't that tekkers up here in central QLD!) but in this years final We were rolled for 101...thought we were done and dusted when the oppo was 2/48 from 26 overs. Enter our 16 year old superstar and they went from 2/48 to 9/49!!! A cheeky run out to finish the game and get them all out for 70...best win I've been a part of!

once won from 13-7 in a friendly. Only the match report exists:-

31-7 in this t20, and won:-

In a t20 final we were 24-7 in 8 overs and managed 111 to win by 12 runs:-

I'm not sure what this is saying about our top order batting!

Defended 44 at Crossgates in 2008. Bowled them out for 41. Track wasn't great lol

defended 71 at ICI Paints in 2001 - I was the only person to make double figures in the match from what I recall.  A few years ago for the CS side we had a wierd one - we lost three wickets in the first over and two in the second then totalled 229, our opening bowler was on a hat trick the fourth ball of their reply...

...and they knocked them off two down...  >:(

Actually we were on tour in essex in 2009 and had a bit of a strange game!
We batted first and were 3 for 3 off 3 overs!!
We then recovered with both bats hitting a ton, one of which was arounf 140!
So we went from 3-3 to 230-3 (or more!) and won that game.

peteH - reminds me of a story told by Bill Tallon, bro of legendary wicketkeeper Don - Bill was a leggie.
it went something like: 'We decided to start with my spin and and I flighted a good 'un down to their number one, our Don pouched it and they were 1 for 3 which brought in Bradman. I drew their number 2 forward in my next over, our Don stumped him and they were 2 for 6. The prize was when I did Bradman with a wrong un and our Don caught him - 3 for 335!' :D

'His was a cameo of savage cuts and pulls - the tragedy being that none made contact with the ball.'

I like that! Classic story and shows the class of the best Test batsman ever!  8)
