Don't you just hate it when there's a ringer on the oppo's team >:(

We played against a team with two overseas Sri Lankan's once, the skipper had decided to use our Sunday friendly game as a warm up for their upcoming league championship match. They opened the batting and eventually the rest of their squad started shouting that there's 9 others that came here to play cricket.

Bit village? Yes. That bad, no. Once defended 44 in a league game! Imagine 44 v 41 - great track.

We were 25-4.  The ball was doing allsorts off the pitch, once it went a bit soft, it was easier to bat on.  At 20-9 the oppo skipper asked if we'd like to bring on our part timers and make a game of it!  If it was a friendly, I would have done but not in a league game

If it involves points for bowling a team out or you still have draws then you were absolutely right. Sounds like he was trying to pull a fast one.

Not so much a scorecard but spotted through looking at the national play cricket site.

Anybody ever heard of this kid?

http://www.play-cricket.com/subsite/web_pages/187279

Not sure if the links work properly to individual players but the name is Alan Jones

2 x 50's 7 x 100's (included a double) averaging over 96.

Oh yeah, he's still playing under 13 cricket.

We don't get bowling points but we do get winning and losing draws.  I doubt the last wcket would have held out for another 30 overs or however long left they had to get a losing draw, but given there was a big black cloud starting to come over and we had an hour and a half drive to get back home, I told him politely to do one.  I only changed the bowlers because my opening pair are both under 18

Sunderland have gone shocking since they lost the woolstons and a few other players to you's. Played them the other week and they're awful...nice ground at ashbrooke aswell

From quite a few weeks ago now.. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/ketteringhamhall/s/match-centre-86529/0-2278145

I missed the game as did pretty much all of our other bowlers and against a good team our mixture of 2nd teamers and part timers didn't stand a chance.. They made 406/6 off 45 and we ended up 149 all out..

Martham have been flying up the leagues for a few years. Surprised they are still climbing! What league is that?
