Played at w'stow many times over the years. Last time we played there one of our players hit a six on to the roof of the houses opposite. Owner was far from impressed and called the police as he claimed it hit his head.
Thats happened twice in the 18 years i've been at the club, first time someone claimed it hit a roof tile which fell near him and wanted compensation the second time was the incident you mentioned. Both were told politely and formally where to go. We've been at Buck Walk for 102 years so they knew what was there when they moved in to the house.
Most of the residents are fine but the odd few do like a moan - they moan the conifer trees block out the light so they get the council to force us to trim them down by 15ft and then moan when the balls occasionaly clear the trees.
The one time i remember seeing your lot at our place was when i got back from a 4th XI game to catch the end of a 1s game between our clubs, Chris Drum was bowling possible the quickest deliveries i've ever seen in club cricket
