A bit late in the season but here's the bats I have occasionally used:-
First up -
H4L 666 Devil - 1 Inch drop on shoulder / SH
2'9.5
35mm Edges
20-30mm toe
Spine 55mm
Description - Match Bat for most of the season, underwent some weight loss last year and picks up really well. Great on decent decks with bounce, struggles a bit on low decks with a smallish toe. Suits me well as I hit most balls near the makers name! Also ideal for the vertically challenge amongst us with the shorter blade. Small spine/slightly concaved, a higher middle tendulkar profile. Top marks to Matt for the knocking in service, never had so much as a crack in the front. Lent it to a mate at Presidents Day and he smacked 85* before lunch, got a few admiring glances!

Bat 2 - GM Icon 808+
2'10.1
34mm Edges
25-35mm toe
Spine 67mm
One of the few lightweight GM+ bats out there. Loved the pickup of the Icon but wanted a little more weight in the toe area and this became available. Since moving down to Warwickshire I've used more as the decks are a little lower and the bulk of the bat all across the blade makes it ideal. Defies the myth that Icons are just high middled bats, plenty of wood and well balanced. Like a lot of GM's nowadays, despite knocking in and further TLC it's picked up some edge cracks. Nothing major and a good refurb in the winter awaits.

Bat 3 - GN100 Scoop
2'9.5
40mm Edges
26-30mm toe
Spine 45mm
Wanted to try the new Scoop and it's only seen service as a net bat and occasional Sunday friendly. Haven't really got use to it but I'm told by my team mates it has a nice middle. Stuck some tape onto the handle to change it to an oval style but something about the pickup I just don't like, very odd. The odd minor crack on the bottom of the blade and a few kit bag dents but it's still in virgin condition playing wise. Going to net with this one.

All decent bats but I might have to let 1 or 2 go to make room for a lower middled bat or a Distinction. My new club has a pretty low bouncing deck and backfoot shots are pretty rare. Spent most of Sunday giving my toe a fearful beating, to the extent that my GM toe guard fell off after a dozen overs!
