It's a test match and we are fighting to stay in the game. Although it is boring to watch I'd rather they continue at that pace and bat for another 3 sessions than fall over in 1 session going at 4 an over and then end up with 2+ days to bat it out for the draw.

I never said that this wasn't the correct way to go about it, I just said that it wasn't very entertaining viewing as a spectator. Apart from day 1 everybody seems to struggle to get any runs flowing, New Zealand have had a great start to the day - top session. I highly doubt that an England win is possible from the current position we are in.

apologies. Miss-read your post. It is boring but necessary. It's why people don't like draw cricket at low levels because of turgid games but it's bringing out some skills of the England lower order that they don't normally play like (ie Prior at a SR of 22)

I would really like Root to dig in and get himself the score that everybody feels he needs at the moment. Is there any hope of an English win in this test?

No that's a gm after wading through about 20 of them the other week it one of them for,sure

I paused it and you can see where the TON branding has been, the one he's using today is an SS for sure bud.

No mate it doesn't scrap off it only seems on one edge so jury still out.

They will be throwing bats at players ala world,cup and what not but it is a gunn and Moore shape yet there scaring
