They might be the only ones on CNC but others are made on machines. Anyway enough of all this its irrelevant now I think people have got the message it's not something I am harping on about I think I will see if we can have this thread stopped because I know it will carry on otherwise

Isn't how, and where, and to what standard, cricket bats are made what most of us on here like to talk about, Paul? And hasn't your reputation always been enhanced by such discussion?

I wouldn't know how people perceive me really bats, I never have even when I was playing the only thing I have and will ever do is try to be the best and most honest and open that I can be , they are my own standards and will never change and hopefully that will come out in what I produce just as people used to see that I wore my heart on my sleeve and tried the best I could every time I played.

You're doing it right as far as I'm concerned Paul. If I didn't enjoy making bats myself, you'd be one of only 6 people in the world I'd buy a bat off.

The bat above is mine! I have got to say that the finish is the best of any bat that I have ever bought (and there have been quite a few! including one of the late Eric Loxton's). Having started the knocking in process today the feel (and sound) of the bat is fantastic. Congratulations Paul in perfecting your art and thanks for all your help and first class workmanship.

Heres a beauty off to an old playing colleague Darren Bicknell, slightly modified sovereign shape not much though and a slightly squarer toe. 2-9 and its a belter

Not at all, non of our bats are heavily concaved, I have never liked fierce concaving as I feel it is often detrimental to a bats performance for the sake of seeking big looking profiles, defeats the object of the exercise

Just cleaning some top end clefts ups for selection for some overseas orders, just the first few roughly cleaned waiting now to be profiled and pressed some beauties
