I tried the new Adidas one on at vitas, hoping to get it delivered by Tuesday so I can net in it, I went for maroon which they didn't have in stock, must admit my heads not the biggest and even with the thicker pads in it still had a bit of movement, I'll play around a bit when I get it, I might even try using both liners and see how that so, as I could easily stick/sew the 2 together, went for steel grill and it was very light and vision was good but I only had it on for literally a minute. Once I get mine I'll do a little review.

you may want to try a bandana under the helmet. really improved the fit for me.

Received the carbo maroon today and god it feels heavy on the head. Been experimenting with the liner to get a good fit. Peripheral vision is definetely better than my previous bog standard helmet but don't think there is much difference when looking ahead.
I get a feeling that I will struggle running between the wickets with so much weight on my head.
Will trial in nets this weekend.

I have the same lid and thought the same. Just added a Ti grill to it (thanks Tom, it arrived today!) which has made a significant difference to the overall weight. Still slightly heavier than my Masuri Ti but definitely more comfortable. The ACIS liner is the reason for the weight but provides an amazing fit

Hi Chaps
safety etc. aside if you have to pick a helmet with grill purely for visibility which one would you pick.
thanks
The new Masuri Vision Series Elite with the "eye-line" grille design. The way in which the upper bar is set back a little, improves the field of vision by a considerable margin and in terms of safety, it ticks all the boxes too.

And you just happen to sell it yeah? Lol

Tbh if your eye line up with the two grills it may improve vision, but anyone else with a different shape head that gets double grill view, it will hinder.

Got mine yesterday thanks to vitas cricket, got maroon with steel, I do find it lighter and after playing with pads etc I've got it how I like. Vision is good. It's comfortable and doesn't move much if any. Really happy. I'll try and add a pic

well worth paying the extra for the titanium I think.

To bee fair, I think most helmets have pretty similar visibility. Some will feel better in the head than others and this will be different for different people.

Existing customers can purchase a Ti grille for £35 inc P&P (usually £50 if buying separately).
