Someone we played yesterday wore golf shoes!

Apart from that there was a Wookstock and Red Ink/RK being used by me and my mate

That wasn't Sellotape, that was lekkas new product 8u115h1t 40v37ti51m3n7 tape!  ;)

C'mon Cam, don't be silly. That product doesn't have an 'X' in it. Lekka only use 'X' because everyone knows if there is an 'X' it is obviously much better.

Saw a rather large M&H Distinction being used by their opening bat, looked too heavy for him.

Opposition number 5 'used' a rather tasty looking Willostix Spitfire yesterday. I say used because he took guard with it, and that was it because he missed a straight ball from our opening bowler first up and was bowled top of off.

Not stuff I saw yesterday, but amongst my university team mates we have a Solitaire, and Black Cat and a Willostix. Then the general Newberys, Kookaburras, GNs. Our captain is sponsored by Kookaburra, has the Ricochet 1000, new this year because the one he had last year wasn't the best bat ever

We had a few lesser seen bits of kit flying around at the HAC today.

A Laver Signature no less. Not sure about this one. It's not that nice. I tapped it up and it's dead off the middle. It's the Special Profile, so it's all or nothing. I will get a pic at the next match I'm playing with this team mate. My H4L Pro has straighter and sexier looks. This one has about 1 inch of heartwood and the spacing between grains isn't consistent. My H4L also pings a lot better. Not sure I'd have paid that much.

Neon got an outing too. Full softs and bat in all it's lipstick pink glory. Not sure about the look, but the bat went well.

Of, course we re well stocked with H4L. We now have 8 at the club.

An Aldred Supreme was peppering the boundries. Now we have (what I call) proper boundaries. Long. To hit a 6 at the HAC you'll need to really give it the beans. Our team mates Supreme (which has been featured in the Aldred section) sounded fantastic, solid and a reassuring thud.

What else? Oh, yesterday's oppo are sponsored by Cobra and Johnny Walker. We had about 5 cases of Cobra and three bottles of Black Label whisky where given to MotM!. What a great oppo. They can come back anytime.

I took some pics, upload tomorrow, and the ground looks truly magnificent. When you see it you'll want to get a game there.

Happy Days.

No, it's the HAC ground, Armoury House in the heart of the City at moorgate.
Mate, it was a picture. I can't wait to share the pictures.

Burtons Court is great. coffee and service on tap. A very, very small ground. Did you ever get pinned by the 'ridge'? I've had a few rear up out of nowhere.
I also saw a pic of Redders and Pattison on the wall, way back in 92. Made me feel really old!

Let me know if you fancy a game. I can sort out accomodation in the House (HQ).

Saw a nice bradbury make an unbeaten 60 odd against us today.

Nothing else of more used against us though, a few Sports Direct Slazengers and a GM Epic (think it was a 606).

One of our lads had a nice looking Powerbow Generation X Strike. Looked a bargain for £80. I wasn't a fan of the profile personally though, too much wood towards the toe made it pick up rather heavy. Not my cup of tea but a good buy for him.

Watched our 2nd team yesterday and a guy had full BB set up, lovely bat in a BB 2 profile and also the gloves in the similar style to the Newbery GT with the silver fingers. They were so comfy. Bat was massive for the weight and had a lovely pick up.

Thanks for the thumbs up Chris.
