A chap had an Uzi Black Mamba on Sunday. He didn't seem to wield it in anger but seemed a good stick.

I was told afterwards he was 67! Looked 45 tops.

Week before a lad had a Puma Chromium which had the sweetest sound I've heard for some time.

Nah, I meant that a few bats Ben Stokes had for the Ashes allegedly had B3 stickers on the top of the handle

A bit like

Played against a Ayrtek and Redink today, Redink guy batted well despite them losing by 6 runs while chasing 107.

Saw a couple of okay Newberys today, along with an SG and (what I think was) a choice

Had a right mix in my own team today:

Kookaburra ricochet players
An unbranded bat that used to belong to a pro
New Balance
A blank CA (only edge stamps. Belongs to a current international player)
A Newbery GT SPS
An old Newbery Uzi 5*
An Australian GN (no stickers on)
A Stuart Sturridge diamond
Something with eBay New Balance stickers o
RNS larsons
Proper shape GM purist

Also on display were some keeping gives with a spider logo (unsure of brand) and some GJ sports batting gloves and pads.

Have to ask if you used the Purist yourself and if so how did it go, feel, score

Got a DNB but it looks nice! Might give her a go today if I'm lucky enough to get a hit.

Spider on the gloves could be redbacks

From the Oppo's team.

Kippax opened up... was bloody huge!
Loads of Gecko's and they were terrible. Sounded cheap and nasty and even when middled didn't seem to go.
A new Kook Ricochet which looked nice but the guy wasn't in very long to actually use it.
Even saw one guy bat in Oakleys.. I was a short leg and couldn't help asking what the hell he was doing..... he was out first ball LBW so they didn't help him see the ball :)

Defo not liking all the Gecko kit appearing down here though. Looks awful.

Well, lots of Instinct kit flying around today.

Plus, team wear, sponsored by Talisman! Yep that Talisman!

Most of the players apparently play for Wincanton on a Saturdday, think that is somewhere around where Instinct was based

Be interested to see one of those kippax tree trunks in the flesh - how did it play? Shortened blade right?

A South African overseas had full DP gear today.
A bloke had full mongoose gear (including keeping)
Was a nice Adidas ST Master Blaster and a very tidy 707 Octane on show too.
Other than that the usual Newbery's etc.

Still not had a bat since I bought my purist :(
