Almonds, they release a chemical that reduces the urge for snacking. alot more science involved but thats the jist!
also pilates is worth a go. as it focuses on the mind and not just the body. ive just stated these classes myself due to fitness and health issues and they are really good.
keep up the good work!

Cut out alcohol, chips and takeaways and you will be surprised how much weight you lose and how much extra cash you have.

John is spot on, I'd lost about a stone and got down to just under 17, had a couple of nights out and a week of poor eating and put half a stone back on!

Just read this thread, sorry to hear your sad news.

9lbs is a great start, it's usually only minimal amount of weight loss in the first few weeks so keep at it, and it gets easier to lose weight the longer you keep at it.

14 pounds in a stone Simmy!

First week is usually okay for weight loss, a big drop, followed by a hard week, keep at it even if next weeks results aren't as impressive!

Keep going mate - next week you'll have a cracker! The body can be treacherous at times, and it looks like nothing is happening.

I've been losing tiny amounts recently, but this last week went well and I'm looking at having a 15 at the start of my weight for the first time since I had hair!!!

Keep going my man - and I hope the fish was boiled!!!

I've been taking part in a weight loss challenge with 4 other lads I play with. It was being done on % of weight loss, rather than actual weight loss (if that makes sense). We've been doing it for 3 weeks and I've lost just over half a stone (I think, metric to imperial is not my strong point) just by changing what I'm eating. Not changing anything to do with my physical exercise. Just shows how much (No Swearing Please) I was eating! I've just had to contend with being starving at work! Lol

Start weight: 102.3kgs
Week 2: 99.0kgs
Week 3: 98.4kgs

Best advice I was given at the gym by a nutritionist, it's not the calories that matter that much but more the sugar intake, people think fat makes you fat. That's the biggest misconception, the best thing do cut out to lose weight is SUGAR as sugar gets sorted as fat deposits on the body. My fitness pal is great for pointing out all these hidden sugars foods have.
