zero loss this week :( having been on the exercise bike 3 times this week for 20 min sessions and not really eating anything bad apart from fish n chips on sat. (after walking 4 miles)

bit disappointed :(

Start weight : 24 stone 2lbs
Week1: 23.7lbs
Week2: 23.7lbs
Just be careful not to over do it, so your body doesn't go in to a starvation mode.

Starvation mode is a bit of a misnomer.  If you are significantly overweight,  your body can happily live off your fat supplies without going into this for a reasonably long time.

I was 11 stone last December. Ruptured my spleen and spent 6 months laying in bed recovering.

Returned to work. Got called fat. Weighed my self and weighed 15stone.

Got given the all clear on August 18th and started training. And more importantly eating properly!

I lost one and a half stone in 3 weeks. Unfortunately I've hit a wall and only lost 2 and a half oz in 5 weeks. Despite. Working out a hell off a lot more.

I know weigh 13.2 and although I still believe I could lose some weight of my stomach. I do have to admit. I feel fitter than I ever have in my life currently.

Looking forward to being back in the nets and preparing for next year now.

Good luck with this simmy. Hard work will pay off.

Just keep at it mate, when I lost 3 stone at Uni it was the same - the first stone came off straight away and then it plateaued for roughly 6 weeks but I started to shift the weight again (one of my house-mates was doing a sport science course and reckoned it was to do with my body adjusting to the change or something along those lines!)

Persevere and we'll be calling you Slimmy in no time ;)

This thread seems to have gone quiet...

Just had my weigh in for week 9 of my challenge and in total I've lost 10.4 kgs in total (I think it's just over 10% of my body weight as well).

How is everyone's winter fitness regime going?

Mines going well, almost daily sessions (moderate) of Turkish get ups and Kettlebell swings, shredding a bit of fat, improved conditioning, all over strengthening (especially the shoulder sockets).

I'm up around a Kg since i started training for the winter, but going up around 5 kg's in weight was my aim so I'm possibly a bit behind schedule. Definitely down a fair bit in body fat though, or at least I was until a boozy weekend back home.

I am down 15lbs since end of September. Its probably more as I started beginning of September but didn't bother measuring for the first 4 weeks and then the wife got competitive about it....

How's everyones winter training going (before it's ruined by xmas)?
I'm still doing almost daily training of 100 Kettlebell swings (10x10) and 10 TGUS (alternate each side). I'm feeling much more athletic due to the bio mechanics of the swing, really strong core and more agile due to working the working differet planes with TGU. Generaly feeling stronger, but not bulky and ready for the season.
