SL are one of the best one day sides about and yes were a big under prepared but in the forth game plus training I imagine there near full strength etc so its a pretty decent effort from Sharma.

I guess if he did it against SA he would be world class!

I don't fully agree with Gerry 200 is 200, but I'm beginning to become tired of seeing ODI batsman slog/hack balls for 4 or 6. I'm thinking particularly about the India v SL series, but it could be applied more widely. Seeing a tail ender bunt a few boundaries with cross bat slogs is fun to watch, seeing India's top order miss hit boundaries in rapid regularity is tedious. They are very fine batsman, but big bats, smaller boundaries and over baring bowling restrictions is turning or turned ODI cricket into a circus. I can't wait to get the world cup out of the way for some test cricket.
