Today's match called off before 9am and Tuesdays T20 looking doubtful a well.

Quite handy actually as nursing a Twickenham induced Hanover this morning.

Today's intra club (not inter club game as a pedantic member always points out to us) game has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
I'm missing next weekend due to a hospital appointment so that's at least 2, possibly 3 weeks of no cricket for me 

No midweek to appease the need of cricket?

We don't have a midweek side this year as raising a full side became a near impossible task last year.
I could go to training on Thursday night, but it's just not the same

We are lucky as our club is quite up for midweek. Tis only sunday and I've got 19 players already. And haven't text everyone yet.

Today's game called off at 11am pouring in suffolk so no suprise really. We have a re-arranged league game tomorrow so hope weather is better

Cup game at home today. Really don't think I'm up for playing.3 nights of heavy drinking have played their part due to 1, passing driving test on Thurs.2, birthday yesterday.And 3, purchasing first car yesterday. Rough is not the word

Really! Which XI - I'm pretty sure Chertsey played them last week. Should've been our second XI, but don't know how PlayCricket works.

Cheers mate, wasn't the greatest shot but if it's your day you chinese cut those for 4. We played Byfleet 3s on a rec they'd never played on before and imagine they might never want to again. Slowest track you ever saw with biizarre up and down tennis ball bounce.  They got 120 which was over par TBH.  Hard to bat on for anyone but for me, awful - need a bit of pace on the ball.

You get many? Saw you guys won

Played yesterday, bowled pretty poorly IMO, took 2 wickets, had a dropped catch and a plumb LBW turned down by a 'neutral' umpire who the previous year had played for the club we played against!
Batted horrific, leading edge of my bat took some damage!

Yep I played for the 2s against Chertsey last week, expected to see you opening the batting after your recent exploits    but in the 3s now unsurprisingly

Came in to bat needing 35 off the last 6 overs with 5 wickets to spare. Left stranded at 2* still requiring 32. Batting practice for the tail end in nets this week.
