Our oppo have cancelled tomorrow's game due to it being Eid.
Obviously haven't let the wife know this, but have said that I've decided to not play this Saturday, so we can spend some quality family time together👍

All in all a bit of a result- I get some serious brownie points and our team get max points( whilst the oppo get -20 and who we now leapfrog)

First game back after a 10 week absence, we lost by 44 runs. I finally took my first catch but managed to get an 11 ball duck as the last wicket to fall. No doubt i'm getting dropped again for next week after that batting shambles.

Cricket is great, we absolutely hammered Cleethorpes today, got 309 and they only managed 140.

They made it even more enjoyable by being a complete bunch of d**ks, very mouthy despite the fact they didn't even come 2nd today

Managed to snaffle a Double Decker at tea too, great day out!

We hit 276/6 in 45. Bowled them out for 70. Only scored 16 but it was great to see a former Trull CC player get peppered by short deliveries on a bouncy track. .

Another big win today. Oppo firsts game was off so they had a few firsts players. We won the toss and batted, 248/6 from 52. Got 15 at 5, went in to change up the run rate and did, managed to then charge what o expected to be a length ball but was in fact a horrible long hop that I mis-slapped to mid off.
More of the same from the last few weeks from me and my fellow spinner, sharing 8 wickets again this week, him with 5 and me 3, and I also got a direct hit run out from mid wicket. Another 30 point win for us, and our firsts got another 30 with the captain making his maiden 1st team ton.
