I personally wasn't an advocate of bringing in Willey if he's going to bat as low as 8 (Or maybe 9 given how Rashid is going) practically as a specialist bowler but if those 2 are both out I'd prefer to see him in than Overton for the sake of it. Most reports saying Jordan is having a fitness test tomorrow morning, not sure to hope whether he passes or not now...

After his bowling in the last game, New Zealand have confirmed their medical staff are working tirelessly to get Chris Jordan back up to full match fitness!  ;)

By all means get him fit but for me although a brilliant fiielder his batting and bowling are not yet good enough.

Would have liked Taylor for billings.

That would be harsh and very old school england on billings though?

"You've had two chances, on your bike son" I believe he deserves a chance and proper crack at it.

But also taylor should have started the series playing.

Alex Hales is a dud. How he gets selected ahead of a superbly talented James Taylor is absurd.

41-2 off 10, not the greatest start for England.

Why is it old school to drop somebody !!!!

It just a selection i understand the balance there trying to balance out with Stokes at 5 and they don't want Buttler to low down because they have tried and it has worked.

No issue with it just feel Taylor is a class act in ODI cricket.

But you can't grumble with bold moves and thats what there trying fair play.

What happend to Wagner the Kiwi chap loved watching him real grafter

Agree with Dave, if you are going to pick roy, Hale's, Morgan, stokes, butler then you need somebody other than root to accumulate and nurse the innings through. Plenty of stroke makers in that team already.

Very poor effort by Butler earlier. Bat shot selection
