Maybe they are just all over the shop as mine are definitely more like youths
Maybe the sizing depends on what pro they were intended for
Imran said he got Ian Bell ones too, but his were bigger than small men's, whereas the ones I have are definitely smaller (good for me as I have smallish hands), so a bit here and there. All that matters is that the gloves are quality
How do you find the ss le gloves?I find them quite a tight fit and that they don't breathe particularly well
Kooka do a glove for their sponsored pro's, same as pads, all same specs just the different colour schemes. They have never been readily available to the public. Sausage is quite unpopular in the market but most brands well always offer 1 option. Apart from the colour the Warner gloves are a really nice sausage glove.
It bemuses me as to why Kook supply their sponsored players with gear different to their product range. To me, thats admitting that your retail product is not up to standard. Plenty of other brands have product good enough for the pros to play with at the highest level. Yet another reason to stay away from Kookaburra.
Are these the gloves people are referring to?You can buy them, but they are only in one line per year. This season they can be purhcased from the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre as part of the Patriot (Green, White, Gold) line up:http://www.cricketcentre.com.au/cricket-batting-gloveskookaburrapatriot-c-20389_20489_20758.html
I think its more the pro picks what's style shape weight of softs they want and the brand puts the colours of the range they want them to advertise as very few of the bats are the same shape as the range they advertise so same for softs
