they look like the work of mohit @ champ sports. i can't see why evolution cricket would go to the trouble of buying  50 grade 1 clefts ,sending them out to india to get them shaped? surley its cheaper to get them uk made? you have to send themto india, have them made, then send them back? doesn' really make financial sense? i smell a bit cow poo....

Could you clarify? What is the quality like of Mohit at Champ Sports? Do they make their bats or have them outsourced?

Have you seen their bats? Do you know who they use to make them in India? I know their prices are low but are they of even lower quality?

In short does their kit (particularly bats) represent value for money?

Gloves and pads look good value for money. Bats you can pick up cheaper elsewhere.

Sorry to bump this topic back up but I'm curious as to whether anyone has tried one of their G1 bats at £135 or any of their other kit for that matter?

I used to own a champ fighter (now belonging to Liam_SCCC) and it was a grade 1, so the bat I own will be identical to the bat I owned. The champ was one hell of a bat, pressed to perfection in my eyes and it absolutely flew when I found the middle. I was guessing these bats are no different.

I'm confused by this bit. Could you clarify please? Do you own an Evolution bat?

Hope you are recovering as I'd read you were very sick a week or so ago.

Ha, I wasn't even interested in it! I think you attached the pictures by accident! You will be briefly reunited with it shorty. Probably send it to you to have back by April the 11th.

It was mentioned that these bats are made by the Champ guy. Craig had a champ bat which I now have

Yeah sorry for all the confusion. I will try and clear it up.

Evolution cricket bats are made by the same company as I bat I previously owned. This bat was amazing, and at the end of last season, I sold it and now I was wishing I didnt, because its was a brilliant bat. I am sure Evolution bats are similar. And yes alot better now thankyou for asking! :)
