Mate you have got a beauty there you really have.

I spoke to the guys at the shop as was interested but when I thought realistically I bat 7 with my GM Six6 606 and if I walked into the middle with that bat I would get proper ripped. I bought the LE Warner bat few seasons back and wasn't happy with it as was just normal size bat. very jealous mate

Why would you get ripped for having that?
I'm a fully fledged number 11 and I used to use a GM OLE and top of the range softs...

Yeah, I assume that walking out knowing I'm terrible with 100s of quids worth of gear all the oppo think "Christ, this must be a serious batsman" then after watching me score 5 in 12 overs and get bowled around my legs they think "phew, thank god he must be having a bad day, lucky escape there", and hopefully nobody ever thinks - hang on, didn't I think that about the last 3 times I've seen him bat terribly?

I think them edges would get all my runs aha I batted 11 with the LE and I got the (No Swearing Please) ripped but then I did smash the bowler for 464212 in an over aha

60-65 mm?
just had a look on the GCCC Facebook page and saw this; BTW, an Aussie 10c piece is approx 25mm in diameter which will give you an idea of the edges... I think this was the one i saw at 2.14lbs.

If they're not ripping you for having a flash bat they'll be ripping you for something else

Whereas I walk out with a £100 butterfly from hunts and score 35 odd at a 166 strike rate and they wonder what's going on!

There is little or no spine in this bat? It is basically a golf driver for cricket made from English Willow.

Watching the WACA Test match today and noticed that Warner has a completely different profile bat for this game (maybe the Gabba too, I didn't notice): this bat is like an M&H Distinction profile with thicker edges.... It seems to be working for him!

I noticed that as well.

Edges still look thick but a decent spine

The one in his hands currently reminds me off my now sold hell 4 leather tempo.

Shame @hell4leather cricket have stopped making it after one of the worlds best opener starts using that profile. And to good effect!!

Bring back the tempo!!

Just looking at the profile on sky and its got a higher middle than a tempo. I loved my old style tempo but the middle position made it a little bottom heavy at times and it would be the only thing I would of changed on the profile. Maybe Matt will bring back a Warner edition of the Tempo. It would be some bat!

Id love to know what weight he's using as its an absolute monster. Warners bat profile seems to be changing every venue he plays at. I'm assuming to suit the wicket.

I can't believe he uses 2 lb 14oz ... on such fast pitches. My guess is its 2 lb 10 or lighter, and that the "replica" bats for sale are much heavier because such light weight clefts are few and far between.
