I'd be tempted to try and bat the full five days - keep PAkistan's bowlers out in the middle for as long as humanly possible and keep your own bowlers fresh.

Rahat Ali has bowled nicely and with excellent control. If he had Riaz's pace he'd but more of a handful

If I was Joe Root I'd be furious with myself for throwing away what would have been one of the most trouble free tons he will ever make.

Cook needs 175 runs of 64 balls to beat Lara's balls faced to 400.........

England fans are so fickle!

All the comments going into TMS are now calling for Bairstow to be dropped, the lad has only just got back into the side, and only a couple of games ago scored more runs than the Australian side!
How does anyone expect a side to develop if there's a change of personel every 3 Tests?!?!

I was thinking exactly the same thing, one low score apparently makes you useless nowadays. English sports fans can be shockingly fickle at times.

Stokes' trickling this along very nicely, just hoping he doesn't start being stupidly aggressive.

Sounds as though Riaz has bowled well finding reverse swing with some real pace!
Can't believe how much concentration Cook has! Unreal!!
