Ah yes I played the one at your ground, you must have been the chap with the b3 who got run out early? I batted three and I think bowled first changechange that game. Cheers, we're lucky enough to have seamers coming out of our ears so even the 3s usually have a solid pace attack!
Yeah run out without facing a ball!! Use to play with a few of your thirds (chequi and dapper )a few years back for hengrove

County ground in Bristol I'm afraid mate, room for another if you can make it up though?

Consider me in then please. Bit of a trek but will be good to put some faces to names :-)

@jamesisapayne more than welcome mate, makes 6 of us which is spot on for one net. It's booked in, 7-8 Sunday 17th, see you all then!

@d7bow Yes very bad luck with that track and short boundary! Far better to bat on than our place ha. Haven't managed to meet those two yet as the 3s play in Kingswood and they haven't made it back to our home ground after games, by all accounts Dapper's done very well since joining though!

Nice one, ta for sorting.

Do you know if it's in the old/original permanent two lane net( at the back of the gym), or in the main(new) hall up past the Bristol pavilion?

What sort of surface is this guys? Has it got decent bounce or is it a sprung wooden floor that goes thunk?

Also, I presume trainers are just fine?

Yea trainers are fine mate, the surface in that building is not that bouncy...unless you pitch short of the matting that is!

Not sure if there is Paul, I didn't mind the trek, got home at a quarter past nine so not that bad and it was good for us wurzels to see the bright lights of Brizzol.
