I agree since the All Stars game till now he hasn't used a SS bat. But in world cup he used SS and also for Surrey.

I was not on about this particular bat not being made by SS! (We need some more emoji's on this forum!)

I'm not biased, I'm honest. Sangakara uses bats made by SS and bats not made by SS but with their stickers on sometimes. It's really that simple! It is however, pointless explaining things to those who cannot or do not want to understand.

It wasn't the hammer edge sheet made me think it was not an SS made bat, but the lack of TON stamps and a few trademarks of the maker that gave it away.

Then there's others who have made bats for Sangakarra, I believe a company called MG2 has done some for him, along with a bat maker on this very forum among others.
If I was an international player I'd visit as many bat makers as I could to try their bats out. From some things I have read, I believe Sanga is a bit of a kit badger and often borrows bats from his teammates, so I imagine he has probably tried several bat makers throughout his career.

I cannot be bothered to continue this discussion any further. I have made my point and have good grounds to think I'm right. If you chose to believe it or not is up to you...

I know other batmakers have made bats for Sangakarra too but in the World Cup 2015 he used mainly SS bats. Edge stamps were their and most of his bats he has used has had bat stamps. Few occasions he has used bats without the edge stamps. And as mentioned he used bats with just this sticker which no one can get and SS don't supply any bat with this sticker so clearly this is Sangakarras bat.

Anyway I can't also be bothered to carry on discussing this too and clearly have good grounds and proof of this being a Sangakarra bat.

Throwing my 2 cents in (which no one should care about anyway) id need more than "it doesnt come X sticker therefore is a pro bat" if i was to pay a good whack for the bat, but thats just me. Looks a cracker either way

Yes mate its a cracker. Not just the sticker but ping and performance on this is exceptional better then all top off shelf bats.

Assuming the sticker story is true ( doubtful ) That would make this a bat he rejected or was never deemed good enough for him? I have been with him in Sydney when GN sent a few bats to him, I even have one of those he rejected somewhere he autographed for me. He loves trying different bats and will use stuff he likes, to suggest people are biased or that this bat is better than all top shelf bats is ridiculous.

True indeed! That happened before Sanga went to SS.

Marty (MG2) apprenticed for James Laver before opening his own shop. He makes amazing bats. His bats ping like mofos right out of the box! He is probably the most under-rated bat maker in the world!!! Best pressed bats I ever had!

The stickers on the bat suggest that it is a 43 pound bat, unless the stickers are just for the sake of it. SS have introduced a new Sangakarra series in 2015 with bats ranging from 35 pounds to 170 pounds in India the only difference being the willow grade. Kindly confirm with your friend about the stickers with your friend from whom you plan to buy. You can google SS master series for more information.

I think you need to do your research on the Master series. So much hate. �43 bat lol. SS master series which sells to public they don't have this sticker bat. The top range SS master has the master sticker with 7 stars and 9000. This only master 7 stars which Sangakarra has used. Also as you talking like you know so much and it's a 43 pound show me this exact stickered bat then.

Sorry mate. No one can get a pro bat expect you as you know everything and even meet players.
Well the perfromance is better then any top off shelf bats.

After searching so much for this same stickered bat I have come across a dealer in India who got the exact same stickered bat a while ago. After brief conversation and showing him the pictures of the bat my mate got he also confirmed it's Sangakarras and said exact same thing about the stickers.
Think I rather believe a authentic dealer then biased people and haters who think they know everything about bats.

And for those saying it's 43 pounds then get the exact same stickered bat and I will pay you 200 pounds for it or find me and show me exact bat.

Right I'm bored sat in a van so looked into this.

Now the stickers. Only difference I can see is no 9000 writing.

Sangas bat has this missing, as does this bat. Pics in this thread.

Now generally master 9000 have this sticker with the 9000 built in.

(Amusingly that is taken from another thread on where where it is also claimed to be sangakarras)

So if you look no further you may think Sangakarra's.

But then abit more research and I came across this master 9000 with a sticker variation.
One were the 9000 bit can be easily removed to leave the apparent sangakarra only style stickers.

And boom look, online stockist has four of these, which can all be bought and easily modified to have the apparent sangakarra only sticker.

So is this sangas bat? Who knows we'd probably need more info to say if true or not.

Does this sticker mean that it's sangas bat only? Not at all imo.
