This could be a debate of what should we rest Root or Taylor?

Now Roy is injured... Great!

Jason Roy times the ball through the leg side ridiculously well. England off to a great start.

nothing more than a good bat to do that.Now...let's have a look in the for sale section see if I can pick something up to time it like that.  :)

Quite right, it's perfectly acceptable when England are batting.

England need all the help they can get. If it turns into a minefield and we have 500 we squeeze home by 5 runs.

Pitches like this are what kills cricket. If this was in the subcontinent everyone would be up in arms about a flat track and batsmen just having a slog.

What's the point of bowlers on surfaces like this? Just use a bowling machine and pretend it's range hitting.

i thought the same this morning until your lads had a hit on it, so lets see how the Saffers go first.

New Zealand scored 308.

Boult and Henry are two of the premier ODI bowlers. Don't see much coming from England's mismash of medium pacers

Willey and Rashid aren't too shabby to be fair to them.
