Jason Roy's found his level at ODI cricket, Sri Lanka who's bowling attack isn't too dissimilar to a division 2 Mickey Mouse attack...
Yeah, true, he only has an average of 40+ against the poor teams.. Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Australia.Struggles against the better teams like South Africa and New Zealand.
Pakistan are a woeful limited over sides and that's been the case for a few years now...As I said an undermanned Australian side. Mitchell Starc would rip Roy a new one.
Has Starc improved that much in 12 months? I'm impressed. He didn't seem to "rip him a new one" last year.
As I said an undermanned Australian side. Mitchell Starc would rip Roy a new one.
According to the latest stats, in the WI game (June 26th, 2016) he was 0/32?If that's ripping someone a new one, I can only presume Moeen Ali is turning it around corners?
Definitely a crap ODI side we've got lads, the stats allure from the World Cup onwards prove it http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/1031205.html
No point peaking after the World Cup...
At last! A sensible post that's not trolling or talking out of your other end! A comment sprouting from you that I agree with!
While I agree with the sentiment, we must remember that England haven't peaked yet. It's a change of personnel has resulted in the improvement, and with plenty of time for the new group of players to grow as a team they could do something special at the next world cup.
