Dredging this one up. Just wondering what the deal is with the "A" stamped on the back down near the toe? Looking at pictures on here im pretty sure Ive seen two GN 50+, one with the A stamp, the other without. If it indicates the grade of willow,  should both bats be sold at the same price? I assume they are. Can anyone clarify? Thnx

Actually, i think this was what i remembered. However, Aussiecollector did say that the A indicates grade of willow. Still as clear as mud!

the R is likely to be year of manufacture (5 years old approx- i think) not sure about the O or C thou!
