I should be delighted to attend a January Beano if it happens.

I'm sure you were barely organised without me!  :D

Luckily there were only 10 or so of us, with 2 lanes! Therefore there wasn't too much to organise. And what there was I duely deligated to Jason who did a sparkling job!
If there had been 4 lanes and 20-30 of us (such is commonplace these days) I would have been flapping around crying and pulling my hair out Brucie!

I enjoyed it this time,,,set on juicy half volleys, got a right sweat on trying to hit it through the roof of the net

And while I'm commenting on your post, a bloke at my old club used your bats, absolute cannons
Drove one straight that was a good twenty metres further than I've ever seen one hit on that ground

The bat I was using is 2.7!!!!
No way I can wield a 2.13 bat these days ha

Ah I didn’t realise! That’s one hell of a 2.7!

Keep up the good work - looking forward to the next net

Guys if you had one tip for getting the ball up and over the infield for someone who generally was taught to keep it on the deck what would it be?

 45 overs a side beckons in 2018  :)

Only 30 balls less per innings, if you're scoring runs hitting it on the floor I wouldn't worry about it! Plus not walking off feeling like a (No Swearing Please) after you've been caught at cover is always good ha.

What's cover?
Where left handers hit it instead of midwicket

Oh, it's one of those posh side things coaches bang on about.
Don't worry about that, there's a whole leg side to try and agriculturally bludgeon everything into...
