What happened to Moses Henriques? I'm not sure if he is classed as an All Rounder or a Bit Part player though...

And what about Glenn Maxwell, he bats, he bowls and is electric in the field. Couldn't he be given a run in the Test side?

Someone in the Henriques mold  but I don't think he is the answer and I'd have Maxwell as a batsman who can bowl a little spin as opposed to an allrounder

I think the fact that Henriques played the 3rd test in Sri Lanka as a specialist batsman shows how little faith Smith and co have in his bowling at test level . Probably our next cab off the rank re pace bowling allrounders in Stoinis but I don't think he's quite at test level either .
As far as allrounders period , probably only Faulkner and  Agar are closest to a true allrounder , with Maxwell,  Head , O'keefe , Abbott ,  Cutting,  and a couple others being handy part timers with their 'other' disipline .

What happened to Faulkner? i thought he might make a good AR if you gave him time.

Everytime i see Stoinis bowl he gets smacked. personally dont think he would ever make a test all rounder. seems to be loose with bat in hand aswell.

what about hilton cartwright?

also, i there a reason Travis Dean seems to have been forgotten about in the search for an opener?

Mental disintegration isnt effective on the pitch for aussies anymore so they are now trying it in the airport. What next a bit of social media trolling?

Pretty embarrassing "journalism" but then again does it surprise you. He's very lucky security didn't knock him out

Channel 9 does not deserve to have the legend that was Richie Benaud associated as  part of their commentary history.

The current lot are a bunch of jokers.

RIP Richie, simply a credit to Australia, cricket in general and a legend over here.

Very much missed.

Love the guy who clearly knows the microphone is wedged in his suitcase wheel and just keeps strolling.

Stoinis didn't really rip up club cricket for the brief period he played in Peterborough. Not sure how that translates to his test credentials, he looked to have all the attributes though.

Embarrassing reporting! What does he actually expect to achieve? Who did he play for @Vitas Cricket ?

Had about 7 games for Peterborough Town in the Northants Prem in 2012, averaged somewhere in the 40s from memory.
