We've got a similar set up regarding exclusives. Though the only retailer I know that does it is PDC, because they are more of a "Pile em high, sell em cheap" Warehouse. They had a Kook "Torre" last year, can't imagine it sold well, looked god awful and is now heavily discounted.

Sports Direct have some exclusives too.

@petehosk had a lovely Sports Direct exclusive GM Apex, it has a fake grain sheet and was totally override in pain on the edges and back, and despite being a 1 star said Pro on the sticker. I can therefore conclude Sports Direct sell GM "Pro bats" for £35  ;)

Ah yes. Forgot about SD.

Must admit, it's not somewhere I think to look when on the hunt for bargain bats. But especially after they did that Flash Sale a few months back, sounds like some people got great value.

On the subject of competition. Would be interested to hear the opinion of the sponsors/smaller retailers on the big boys.

so perhaps it's IJC's currency converter on thier page a bit off? When  switch the Aus dollars on it's 640, it appears to be live as it went up by $2 overnight.
Still glad you're not my accountant. Exchange rates play a big part, as Vitas said not the same bat, compare average wages in both countries as well. There are many things that go into what ends up the retail price of things but you are clearly clueless if you think retailers make huge amounts on top end bats.

Even had some free paint under the fake grain sheet, it's gotta be pro willow though, it says so on the stickers

 Yeah Aussie retailers certainly not making huge amounts on top end bats  ;) well from me anyhow.
Saved $307.66 aus buying from the UK and to top it off Uk version oval handle. Pictures to follow soon  :)
