Recently got VKS Air lite batting pads (Men's size). They're the lightest pads I've used. I've put them on my kitchen scale and they came in around 715 gms for both the pads (not just one pad)!! I've used them in nets once and in a game. Haven't been hit on the legs yet, but protection seems ok. They're moulded pads, so feel a bit different as the top flap is a bit stiff and shapes toward the quad/thigh, I'm hoping they'll flex with use. Not a major issue so far. Running with them felt fine, no issues.
