Guys - everyone will have opinions on which are the strongest comps! Conditions, wicket preparation, form and other issues will dictate some of the results.
But pointless saying that one comp is stronger than the other. The way I look at things, I am happy to watch Shield, First Class, County, International, not to mention even more 'local' cricket!
One thing I don't do is spout about this match and this level is rubbish compared with that level! Obviously levels will differ!
When you look at the people competing at those levels most should be at around the same level as each other - therefore you can still get some amazingly enjoyable and competitive matches which are excellent to watch. We are cricket fans chaps so let's not quibble over this level being superior to that level!!!
Let's do what we enjoy doing most and watch some competitive cricket and try and remember why we are obsessed by this fabulous game!

I'd say the biggest difference in runs being scored by KP is the decks played on. BBL and RamSlam lovely flat ones that have pace in. Pitches in Dubai don't. Its like comparing apples with oranges!

And if anyone thinks the PSL is the strongest comp however pass me what they are having as it must be good stuff!

Not just flat tracks but some average bowlers he faces.
PSL first game this season had a score of 190 which was chased. So it's not like they not flat tracks their. Rossouw has scored 2 fifties in 2 innings with a very high strike rate.
You have to be at your best and good to score runs in PSL. Reason being its only 5 teams and all the best possible Pakistani players along with 4 overseas players which makes it very competitive.

PSL is stronger then the others but not IPL.
My opinion and stats and facts back it up. You can enjoy the Blast where likes of Willey making a 100 and BB with average players bowling to KP who makes runs for fun their and can't get a run in PSL. He might do in a few innings but not as destructive as he was in poor leagues.

Agree and well said.

This thread was to talk about the PSL. But some people resorted to saying it's dud and not better then so and so league. Maybe because their countries T20 league ain't as good so they trying to say it's one of the worst leagues. Can understand as PSL is only in its 2nd year and already has gone way ahead of the leagues they follow.

Sangakkara is completely finished, dropped in BBL and just can't perform.

Kind of agree he is near the end of his time. Be suprised if he is in the PSL next year unless he does something exceptional which looks unlikely. He was playing for Quetta last year at the PSL but they released him and then he was bought by Karachi this year as they wanted a experienced head leading the team as they had issues with captaincy last year with Bopara captaining for them few games towards the end  :D

You couldn't script it. Or, perhaps you can if someone throws a few dollars at you it seems.

I suppose the flip side is that the PCB is making a stand against fixing, rather than letting it fester

It may be very basic but ive always thought the first step to resolving a problem is admitting there is one

Hahaha. 3 games and he has been awful. Missed a straight yorker today. Should be dropped next game and Luke Wright should take his place.

There goes the potential IPL paycheck! He looked in great nick in the BBL.
