I did wonder why I couldn't see the online 'shop' on here. Oh well, I'm sure one bat won't be enough so I'll keep my eyes peeled once I have access ;)

I reckon he's picked a bat in the best way possible. Nothing beats going into shop and trying what's there with no preconceptions.

Lovely looking bat, but the bars on the grip not being parallel would do my nut in!

sounds like a decent enough reason to need to get another bat... everyone knows a bat never performs the same after a re-grip!  :D

Nothing wrong with that what I find though with  your local batmaker if the bat doesn't feel right after or before use or at anytime you can get done what's needed in your prescence.

Thanks all, I'm pleased with it so far. Still going through the knocking in process so I'll let you all know how it goes when I finally get to use it.

Good stuff, I'll take a look at some of theirs now.
Asad, the owner of Uzi is a nice bloke with good intentions and great kit. Despite this, I have had broken bats, torn pads etc etc off him in the past and he fails to replace these and charges exceedingly high prices and takes ages to receive, examine, refurbish, deliver etc and doesn't knock off any money for inconveniences due to himself.

Think you have a better chance of getting properly reimbursed by posting a topic on here for public attention first !  :)
Better P.R. for them to help you out that way.

I will have to disagree entirely - you will not find a bad word said about Asad on this forum and in my experience he has been nothing but a gent to deal with. I suggest you give supporting evidence before making such claims?
