Almost the entire oppo using Fatbats yesterday, one or two of them looked really tasty too. Are Fatbats even still going?

Think the owner/family used to, and probably still play for Keynsham,

Ah really, we had woodpeckers yesterday. Their skipper/no3s bat looked and sounded like an absolute gun!

One of the opposition had a very nice Screaming Cat yesterday. As I walked past him between overs I commented on it, he said he's got 4!! He used it very well to get 48

That's Gary and it's him and his family that own it, he did play for Keynsham though.

Yeah that'd be him, explains why their whole side were using them then! Didn't know they were so local to Brizzle. Anyone know who the bats are made by?

Sat had nothing apart from Kook and GN, GM except one lad who was an Onhand FKW

There was a shark bat, B3 3 stripe custom and huge SF amongst our team yesterday
The oppo had a few nice sticks too, a lovely hitshard that scored a 60 odd before being caught on the boundary by yours truly, and a nice H4L Hellfire that sounded good until the guy missed a straight one

Playing a team from Kent on Saturday, it was perhaps unsurprising that all but one bats came from Newbery or Salix. There was another that I couldn't recognise that had a silver face sticker with what looked like a lizard on it.

Gecko?
Stickers don't match the current ones, but could be an older edition.

This? (although stickers are blue at the moment, think the older style is silver like the pads)

They make good quality budget kit and are well stocked in the only cricket shop here for miles around, probably an Intersport stocked brand???

Junior club mate has one of these bata, clears the boundary with ease!
