Second that

If I could find completely blank (no branding at all however subtle), small fitting pads and split finger gloves I'd stop purchasing mountains of softs that upset my FKW OCD sooner or later  :)

I have ordinary kit ocd , but ive recovered from fkw kit ocd..... i think how i got out of it was twofold : 1) i realised i wasnt necessarily using (imo) the best/favourite gloves because they didnt match other gear . 2) i just go for a particular look now ie/if i wear morrant pads and bas players style gloves then i am as matching as half a dozen present/past Indian players anyway , if i add a subcontinental bat ... presto,  look is obtained . One other sorta-reason is that i wont use anything but morrant pads now , so have adjusted to the idea that my kit will never fully match anymore anyway .
If i want to use a western branded bat , for whatever reason , i feel i need to wear one of the plainer /whiteout style gloves , so my fkw-ness hasn't totally disappeared,  i suppose - its just morphed into something that only makes sense to me !

31 pairs is definitely too many.

I have 3 currently I think - got one full set of Bradbury softs and one of Puma, plus one cheap unbranded pair for nets. Arguably one pair too many ;)

Would i be redeeming myself if i said i only own 5 sets of pads ?   ;)  :D

Actually,  one element of fkw-ness that still exists for me is that ( other than bat , pads , gloves) all visible branding has to match - i have adidas shoes , adidas logo on my ayrtek helmet , adidas pants , and i even bought a plain adidas vest ( instead of our club vest with different branding) and put a club badge on it . Guess im still a while away from full fkw recovery !

I think this is the main reason for ols unbranded kit being popular. .... different kit to your bat , but it doesnt mess with fkw kit ocd !

I catagorise my gloves into two different sections!

Section 1: Gloves which match my bats/pads kit (these are gloves which will go with matching bag/pads/match bats)
Section 2: Net gloves - these are gloves which I do not have matching pads and bats for so can't be that sad FKW which I can be with option 1  ;)

I will need to get Section 2 sorted as I have a dozen or so various sets of random gloves scattered in different places. So will concentrate on listing from option 1.

So Option 1 gloves:
3 pairs of H4L Pro gloves - these are the old plain gloves which were on half price offer from last year - very nice gloves too!
1 pair H4L Custom Pro Gloves to match pads (fantastic quality)
1 pair 5050 gloves to match pads

1 pair Kookaburra Kahuna pro gloves
1 pair Kookaburra Ghost pro gloves (match Blade Pro pads)

2 pairs GN Prestige gloves (match Prestige pads)
1 pair GN Omega 1500 gloves

All the above are really comfortable to wear - if I had to choose 1 set of softs I would choose the H4L Custom softs as they just feel so comfortable on. I realise this is a personal preference and everyone if different. In reality all the softs I have are really comfortable and would happily wear any of them.

I did have others such as the B&S GP274 softs which looked fantastic and felt nice. But I didn't have a matching bat so I thought that having 5 complete sets of gear was too excessive!  ;)

Sounds like you have 25 or so (approx ) pairs..... you make me feel a bit less abnormal now , thanks !  :)

If they did small sizes I'd be all over them
They only do small sizes! Else I'd have loads ha.

In a semi-related vein, I have a hankering for a pair of unbranded but completely coloured gloves. Not sure I'd actually use them much though.

I have super short , thin handles on most of my bats . I find many gloves , particularly thin sausage style ones , to fit snug and not feel bulky on the handle . I find splits , especially non shark tooth /square ones , to feel bulkier .

My palm ripped tonight in my last game, but one of my teammates is off to India, so will hopefully pick me something up to replace them.

3 pairs.

But only two in my bag.

Which ever is the driest gets used for whatever I'm doing. Nets or games.

Two pairs in my bag, not that I've ever batted long enough to require a change mid innings but you know "just in case"  :D

Two sets of gloves, one old and will be used for both nets and matches, one new just in case I mislay the old pair.  The new ones will take over when the old ones finally die.
