I was going for companies with *allegedly* pretty loose ethics but if we are playing that game...
BAS (Beat All Suckers)? Boom Boom? Warrior?

Meanwhile Hales is set to join Duck and Run.

If that all falls through but they make it to Australia then no doubt Dingbat Sports will pick them up

There is evidently a group gathering next Tuesday in Loughborough which involves fielding practice, some bowling with Kook balls plus what to expect in Aus (hostile, quick bowling and lots of sledging would be my guess there!) But will be interesting to see if he is left out of that gathering or whether they say "see you next Tuesday" Stokesie! I think we all say that anyway!!  ;)

Does the sledging practice involve a video of Stokes with voice over?

Stokes to sign for Hits Hard?  :D

Is the brand still alive? I had bought a pair of HH gloves here on the forum...they had hits hard spelled out on the knuckles...something that was always a hit with the opposition.  :D

Would 100% suit Stokes.

Depends what's in his contract @Cover_Drive - I know of a few companies that only send free kit out on a loan basis so it remains the property of the brand for instances just like this (Pretty sure B&S do a similar thing but donate to charity at the end?).

Anyway lets face it, a company of NB's size really aren't going to care about a bit of kit lol

Wasn't so much then wanting the kit back but more how much do they want to be removed from Stokes. Do they want to go as far as not letting him be seen with any of their stuff rather than just we've stopped giving him freebies and wads of cash.

Yeah exactly, I'm sure there will be a clause stating he's unable to represent the brand in any form for cases like this.

My bet would be on one of the Asia based brands picking him up. I would presume it'll make less of a difference to them compared to a UK based brand and they'll still have deep enough pockets to afford him.

Wonder if any other brand would be willing to be associated with Stokes after the reasons given by NB for breaking ties.

What happened with Tiger Woods after Nike broke ties with him?

Can a player buy his own kit & use it with the brand visible? If yes he can take a revenge with NB by buying retail stock available (rather just use exisiting kit without getting paid) and using it in game  :D.. Can do that atleast for a few weeks

I wondered this, i suspect at the very least he'll end up buying himself some NB spikes. Wonder whether an Indian brand would go for him given his IPL reputation? Not sure if any Indian members can comment on how this whole thing has been received in India?

Took the stickers off and carried on using them by the looks of it haha! The article says he was picked up by TaylorMade for his drivers, but he's still using his Nike irons without the Nike branding.

TBH not much of an issue here in India  ;). IMO he's been getting too harsh a punishment (on the field), let law take it's course and let him serve his sentence. If he did something on the field punish him accordingly. But I understand if a brand doesn't want guy with a particular image endorsing their products/company ethics/values.

I also wonder how much of NB being ECB kit suppliers affected their decision? Have they binned him because he'll ruin their reputation or have they binned him because he'll ruin their partnership with ECB?

Kook don't have any England internationals so wouldn't bet against that. Just for kicks when I next speak with Kember I'll ask him if he is up for offering him a HH sponsorship lol

I know they could afford him, but will they want to afford him? Must be a reason they haven't snapped any up recently?

Was trying to think of any other brands that use FCS as their maker, unless he gets his bats made closer to home

six and out

Just seen this and did not see that coming at all. I'd bet no one will touch him until they know what's happening. No sense paying a guy six figures if he's sitting on his backside on the back of a year's ban...
