No brand will give you a g1 for 150 dollars. if it performs well then you got a bargain and you should put all thoughts to rest, but if they supplied you a kashmir willow then you can call the guy and raise your concerns.
As far as mb goes, What you are quoating here about mb being $700 is totally wrong as none of their bats retail even close to that price but well below.
Their top of the range gold playinum is 45000 pkr which at todays rate is approx 320usd. I dont know who gave you 700usd quote.
