As much as i don't want to take away from someone getting 250........ you have to say that the MCC attack is not great (apart from Broad) and the Dubai pitch is well known for being flat as the M1.

If Pope gets 250 against Essex 1st game up then that's a different matter.

On a separate note, there is a definite air of opportunity around the counties with everyone looking at where they are batting - Vince opening, Hildreth at 3 etc....

although MCC are 221-1 with sibley 100 odd not out

Good to see TRJ back playing for Middlesex! A few runs scored at MTS vs Oxford Uni, 100 for Eskinazi and 50s for Malan and Morgan. Of course it's just the Uni but encouraging signs, Sam Robson 44 as well.
