Haha that’s exactly the same as me, didn’t use to have a backhand. Left handed, right footed but bat and play golf right handed (despite my dad being a lefty so no idea why he didn’t teach me the same).

to me that makes sense, i bat left handed, but i am purely right handed in everything else - i just find the thought of being able to bat left and play golf right off the scale!!!

i've tried a few times to swing a golf club that way when i was young, my poor left hand might as well have not been holding the club as the right hand hacked away at the ground like i was digging for coal!

I have a mate who bats left handed, plays golf right handed apart from putting which he does left handed and write right handed.

Mark Footitt and Tymal Mills are two pros that do it off the top of my head.

Might have seen Sean Ervine sold a load of his bats on eBay this week. I think a few forum members got hold of them.
anyway, thought I'd post some photos of what I ended up with. I bought number 7 which was 2'7.5 with no grip. I've redone the facing and cleaned it up a bit. Now with a grip it weighs 2'9 and its pretty large. 43mm edges and 28mm toe.

Pretty nice.

Under what Ebay ID is he selling his stuff?

My club has 7 bikes that do this in one or other variation, and only one that bats and bowls leftie.

Last time I looked he had a couple left. One had no stickers, brown marks and toe damage, other was about 2lb 15oz.

The forum is funny.  I guess £160 for a decent condition bat isn’t too bad but it’s not going to score the runs for you.  They’re worth the money people are willing to pay for them but if it had not been mentioned who they may have belonged to then some of the poor condition/damaged ones may have ended up in the ebay tat section!😂

Mine was pretty much the same. Absolute steal think it’s a Keeley but just guessing. Have you stuck it through the gauge I think it might be touch and go

Not all are Keeleys, atleast 1 is, maybe another bat is a Keeley as well. There are several that are not Keeleys.

Looking at one or two of them I reckon they could be kippax made the handle shape into the blade as well as the toe shape would suggest so

I neither bowl or throw like either of them. Unfortunately.

1168grams/2lb 9oz
42mm edge/61mm spine
11mm shoulder/26mm toe
16 grains
shape seems similar to my mates Uzi Posedion that i recently repaired for him - although that was smaller but weighed 2lb 12oz
