Here's the bat from yesterday fully finished. Bang on 2lbs 10oz, no concaving. Hope you all approve. As always, good or bad feedback welcome.....

Thanks fellas, really appreciate the feedback. Still learning as I go to be honest, but feel happy with where I've got to so far and hopefully more to come.

Trying out some profiles which will be stock shapes for next season. Liking this profile! What are you're thoughts all?

😆 Thanks mate, appreciate it! It'll be available if anyones interested. Will be around 2lbs 11oz finished, but picks up nicely and it's a good size.

Honestly these look so good that I would look to other brand for things they do better than you, and try and beat them/reach their level. Like how Salix are generally the finest finishers of bats... Can you get your finishing to their level? If you keep going, you'll be competing with either yourself or some pretty big boutique brands!

This is a great shape.  I much prefer bats with a solid looking toe and I always feel more confident when playing more aggressive shots knowing there is enough meat lower down the bat to carry it if it isn't timed out of the middle.  I have never been convinced either that the typical 'pro shape' is that well suited to club players and the pitches and bowling that they will face once the nice hard and pacey surfaces of winter nets are done and dusted

Thanks mate, really appreciate the kind words. In fairness I'm pretty happy with my finishing, but there's always room for improvement obviously. I've still got loads to learn, so just keep  trying to do that improve every part of the process.

Finished this one, love the shape as think it gives good coverage and a lively pick up. This ones 2lbs 10.3oz, Grade 1 with lovely straight grains running straight through the toe and back. Personally I quite like a wider grain, so right up my street this one!

Lovely again mate and totally agree with the wider grain preference. Would rather 7-8 clean and even over lots of tight grains

Love this one. Also a fan of clean grains. Slightly wider always seems to have performed well on my bats

Very impressive.

Long time admirer of a Scott bat... please keep posting

Thanks fellas. Can see this becoming a stock shape next year, just ticks a lot of boxes and not much concaving.

Appreciate the comments as always!
