I remember a batmaker once telling me I was mad looking for a huge butterfly 🤣

For a Players Edition GM clone wasn't it? No concaving at less than this weight I'd assume? 😆

Acceptable weight if that’s 2’10.5 all in 😁

What’s a bawhair of concaving between friends 🤣

Either way it looks a stonker.

Thanks mate. You'd be surprised (or maybe not!) at how much of a problem lots of little things can be! 😆

It's 2lbs 10.5oz as it is now, with grip and toe gaurd. So obviously needs stickers added.

Phew that's a relief mate! 😆 Yeah, a picture from that angle will mate it appear smaller. As i say though, every batmakers splie will measure differently, some longer and some wider etc

You know I'm not one of those.😉

Another one i finished up today. Butterfly G2, 2lbs 10.5oz, nice size semi oval to oval handle and feels lovely under the mallet and in the hands. Big, springy and coming to a website near you for sale! 😆

Large! Whats the price?

Yeah a lot of interest on this one but it's sold. Will be making a few more butterflies up next week, but made this one today also. Customer requested my JS175 shape but with a 530mm blade, longer handle, 850mm overall. 35mm edge as didn't want much concaving, 66mm spine, 23mm toe, 15mm shoulders and will be coming in at 2lbs 10pz fully dressed

Also made a G2 to match an old favourite of a customers. 2lbs 11.5oz, pretty much an exact copy but with a bit more wood throughout. Nor sure whatthe original was as it was blank, but had style interesting bits to the shape...

Obviously I'll leave the above for other people to answer. A few others finished up today.

First one is a 530mm blade, std SH overall in my JS175 low profile. 2lbs 10.5oz. Butterfly grade

Second one is a Custom requested at 2lbs 8oz to 2lbs 9oz. Was 2lbs 8.5oz before scuff. Customer just requested a nice low to low/mid profile, oval handle.

I've only had the one since Jonny started pressing and it's excellent. Very much the equal in terms of initial response and feel of any of the bats I've had recently.

Finished this monster off today. 2lbs 11oz fully dressed, full, 24mm toe, 17mm shoulder, 37mm edge, with a a thickish semi oval handle. The pick up is incredible, especially for a low middle bat......
