I'd rather keep more in the handle and use a thinner grip, than skinny it out and use thicker grips/tape personally. You can easily thin it out tho, you being a man with a spokeshave! 😆

That would be a very backwards way to be doing things, making a handle thinner as it's the right size but all the others I have are too thin so need double thick grips  :D

Would be pretty peak CBF mind you

Back in the real world I think I just need a few weeks of nets to get used to it being slightly less spongy.

Your handle shapes are the best I have had in my days on custom bats and the one on my first one off you is like a trott and you only need a thin chevron.

Will put my bats up very soon after a bit more use 1st one mate is a belter the copy 44cm edge one is being knocked in

Not sure it was quite 44mm was it?! 😳 Either way, really glad you're happy with the first one and sure the second will be just as good mate. They were both bats I kind of regret having to hand over!  🥲

Yes it was a it highest point gone to a rather nice 42mm with the edges rounded now. Full as feck. (Just remeasured 43mm)

It picks up something else it all about the weight distribution from the handle and shoulders and spine.

What I like about your bats apart from the stickers is the balance and the fact there not bloody soft and take forever and a day to knock in and play in nice form press almost good to go from the get go…

Here is the bat from the video abv. Made as a copy of an existing bat. It's a big boy at over 3lbs, but as you can see in the video taps up really nicely. As you'd expect at that weight, it fills the gauge and imo balances nicely for such a hefty chunk of willow

Thanks mate. It pings really well but there's nothing special about the the willow, is just a standard grade 3. It's the best in the pictures abv, so just over 3lbs in weight

You can make any bat in any shape at 2lbs 8oz. As long as your not bothered about certain size/specs :D

As for the price, it depends on how much you pay for your chips
