You guys need to calm down a bit. Morgan batted well, but he was out TWICE. If Vettori was the bowler, I'm 100% certain umpire Tucker would've sent Morgan packing.

Some of you are carrying on like Morgan is the new Michael Bevan. He's played a few good innings ang you guys want him in the Test side?

Who do you support mate??

Morgan is a class act and has so much potential and is beginning to show it....

Not Bangladesh that's for sure.

I was merely pointing out, Morgan was very lucky today. And also that I don't believe that he justifies a Test call up.

Tbh, when players that aren't justified a test call up get given chances, they dont normally grasp it, and lose their head! Morgan didn't, and carried on to lead the chase.

I've got nothing against England.

I think if he has a good 12 months, then he comes into consideration for the Ashes squad. No need to fast track him into the Test side just yet.

For England....

May have scored a ton for Ireland but it was before they were granted full ODI status, which was in 2006 if I remember correctly.

Ah, so hence Morgan is the first guy to do it officially & by the book in proper ODI's

So before 2006 they weren't ODIs? I think they were but they just didn't play them regularly ect... what about all the affiliate (Whatever there called) members? Do they not play ODIs?

niall - nope, they weren't odi's, they were either average list a matches, or 'unofficial ODI's', which are essentially unofficial matches, which don't count towards career averages. they also don't count as odi's. he has only scored 1 one day international ton, against australia.
