That’s a laminate, made using the face from a G2 that unfortunately had a knot through the blade so would have been classified as a vellum and a G3 back.

New stick made up today for a good friend of mine. G2, max specs, no concaving, 2.9.25

An absolute belter!

Another stunner shaped up today.

Grade 1, 37mm edges, 65/66mm spine, 6/7mm face camber as with all my bats. Weight is 2.8 with no grip, so will finish 2.9

Absolute belter!

I love this shape, and the brief was “high middle - big as possible”

Also got our new proprietary toe guard on - which is a mix I’ve been tinkering with for a long time now and having picked several peoples brains, this seems to be a great solution in my books!

Lovely shape mate, what’s with the new toe guard if you can share? Is it a plastic/runner guard like normal or like a paste that covers the toe and then sanded smooth?

Stunning G2 finished up today. Players shape with a duckbill - modelled off the keeley superior with a slightly higher swell.

2.9 finished and not a massive bat, but full and very very pingy!

@SOULMAN1012 the toeguard is a pourable compound that dries almost as hard as epoxy but is rubberised so flexes with impact.

A lower middled bat shaped up today, as well as a modern take on a throwback classic.

Lower middled bat is a G3 weighing just 2.6.5 in its current state, so will be around 2.8.5 finished.

Modelled off the ST shape, with a nice soft semi oval handle.

The throwback classic is a G2 and as you can see weighing 2.9 finished.

The absolute state of this!!!

This is an absolute stunner - 2.9 finished, with 43mm edges, 69mm spine, no concaving, and a mid high middle.

Stunning butterfly cleft too!

Made up for a very good young player at our club, and by far and away the favourite bat I’ve ever made - the guy will be very very lucky if he ends up getting this one 😂

Looks big for a 2.6.5.

Out of curiosity. Is there a reason by the uneven distribution of weight?
From the pictures the shoulders and the toe look small in comparison to the max edge and spine height?
Or is the edge that big it just makes it look small in the picture?

It’s all pretty big tbh mate, shoulders are 21mm toe is 21.5mm and the centre of the toe is 29mm. Think that would be pretty big by most standards. The huge swell and edge make it look small I think.

I try not to reduce the toe and shoulders beyond 20mm on the edges and 35-40mm in the centre as I feel it would hurt longevity if I did.

That’ll be why then! Personally for me, it just makes the hitting area look very concentrated the way it peaks like that, rather than a sweeping swell, it looks more like a peak if you get what I mean?. I’m struggling to find the word to describe it, it’s been a long day at work. Obviously pictures do not always do a bat justice and I hope you don’t take my opinion the wrong way!

I agree with small toes and shoulders massively hurting longevity!
