not quite but there's a space between our ikea pax wardrobes where about 3-4 bats have good space.

This is a very good observation, which only guys have been using many bats or bat makers themselves are able to confirm!

Yes, face sheet on all. In winter I keep them in a room at the far end of the house so I can admire them. In summer they�re either in the boot of the car or in the garage if I can be bothered to take them out when I get home on a Sunday evening.

2 totally different mathods
Can't use car boot, as don't have a car.
I Avoid face sheets thinking they add some weight And the sound of willow without one, sounds better 🙂

I don�t think the weight of a face sheet is perceptible - It weights next to nothing.

Agree on the sound though, but I�d rather have a slightly muted sound than suffer the inevitable dread of looking at your bat when you inside edge one and see the damage it has caused.

I use thick edge tape for edges and toe. Apply 2x or 3x if needed 😀

Don't find the bedroom cupboard to be a weird place to store them personally - wherever the moisture/temperature levels don't fluctuate much is as good as any. I've had a bunch of Kippaxes which have put on an ounce and a half in storage conditions where other bats didn't change. Has a fair bit to do with how the clefts are dried and the conditions of the place of manufacture/retail store compared to your storage space.

Reckon I'll be using a slightly lighter bat this year as I've not been doing much physical activity over the past year.

The stiffer more plastic type of face sheets like hammer edge are about 0.75oz and the helicopter scuff sheets are around 0.4oz. Adding a toe guard will be around 0.25oz as well, so you could add in the region of 1oz to a bat by fitting a scuff sheet and toe guard.

What if he leaves cupboard door open and can't take his eyes off his bats?
That's a shame getting those bats heavier for whatever reason.
